The Communion Table

The Communion table is neither a religious snack table nor a religious ritual to be observed. Being one of the vital ministries of the New Testament, it is a blessing to be received.
A commemorative ordinance, a memorial of Christ's atoning sacrifice on the cross; and a feast portraying the union of believers with the Saviour, the communion table creates fellowship between believers, It merges them into one body and ultimately imparts divine life.
The communion table represents the greatest expression of God’s love for His people.

In 1 Corinthians 11:26, Jesus' loving instruction that we are to remember Him as we partake of the Holy Communion was his bid to keep us conscious of how His body was broken for our wholeness, and His blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sins. Every time we partake of the Lord's Table in this consciousness, we "proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes".

The Communion Table has a 3-fold ministry

  1. It purges the human conscience from every evil work. (2 Corinthians 7:1/1 Thessalonians 5:23)
  2. It neutralizes every poison in the human system (1 Corinthians 11:26/2 King 4:40-41); and
  3. It is the ONLY universal prescription for Health, Strength, and Longevity (1 Corinthians 11:30/Lev 17:11).

The Holy Communion is good news for the sick and unworthy. It is a celebration of victory (Rev. 12:10-11). It is a table where we declare our dependence on God (John 6:53);
It is a place of self-examination (1 Cor. 11:28-32).In luke 24, the eyes of the disciples' opened. In Exodus 2:23-25, Israel ate a meal and their joy returned. In Psalm 12:5, God promises to arise for those who are oppressed and relocate them.

This Sunday, at the Communion Table, God will open your eyes to deep spiritual truths and restore joy to you. As many as are oppressed by sickness, poverty, pain, constant defeat and failure, The Lord Himself will arise to relocate them from your place of torment to a place of rest. Via this New Testament mystery, everything imperfect in your life and physical body will compulsorily line-up with the Word of God.
However, before you take communion, please examine your life for strife and unforgiveness; repent and forgive!

We are all admonished to reach out to the unsaved and encourage them to come along with you and your family for this life-changing service.

Jesus is Lord!!
