JESUS IS RISEN!!!

On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ”  Then they remembered his words. - Luke 24: 1-8 (KJV)

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is essentially the foundation upon which Christian religion is built; It is the central truth of our faith. It signifies Jesus Christ's victory over death. His resurrection symbolizes the eternal life that is granted to all who believe in Him. The meaning of Easter also symbolizes the complete verification of all that Jesus preached and taught during His three-year ministry. If He had not risen from the dead, if He had merely died and not been resurrected, He would have been considered just another teacher or Rabbi. However, His resurrection changed all that and gave final and irrefutable proof that He was really the Son of God and that He had conquered death once and for all.

His resurrection comes with various reasons to rejoice:

1. PROOF OF SALVATION:

The Resurrection validated the claims of Jesus and provides ultimate credibility to His person. Because the Resurrection offers such proof, we believe His message.

2. POWER OVER SIN:

Paul lamented that a man, minus the power of God, has no hope of living in spiritual victory. Indeed, power over sin in our own strength is assuredly an exercise in futility. But the Resurrection power of Jesus Christ, the new life He provided to believers, enables us to live in victory over the enslaving power of sinful flesh as we reckon ourselves to be alive unto God through Jesus Christ.

3. PURPOSE FOR SERVING:

Because of our resurrection life in Christ, we are connected with the Lord. By His Spirit He dwells in us. We are partakers of His divine nature. The Resurrection means that Christ is with us and will never leave us.

4. PROMISE OF SECURITY:

Based upon the fact that Jesus Christ rose from the dead, we who trust in Him will rise too. Christ arose and provided the sure hope that, in Him, we can all have confident hope of a glorified body.

By reason of the finished work of the cross of Calvary, our sins are dealt with and we are declared righteous in Christ Jesus. The folded napkin left in his tomb also attests to the truth that God is not finished saving souls John 3:17, He is not finished reclaiming backsliders and without any fear of contradiction, God wants to bring His life-giving resurrection power to every area of your life - your marriage, your children, your finances, your job, your health, your ministry, your spirit. There is no part of our lives at is beyond God's reach. God wants to touch us - body, soul, and spirit.

COMMUNION is a Christian sacrament in which consecrated bread and wine are consumed as memorials of Christ's death or as symbols for the realization of a spiritual union between Christ and communicant or as the body and blood of Christ.

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. (Jn 6:53-58 kjv)

The HOLY COMMUNION is a New Testament covenant mystery that gurantees a sound body and flourishing health. Jesus first introduced this meal in Mark 14:22-24.

Furthermore in John 6:55, he told the people, "For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed." In other words, "I am giving you the highest form of nutrients you will ever need for sound health and vitality." He further described the value of this spiritual meal.

The meal releases strength, health and longevity, if taken with the correct spiritual perspective. The communion (the flesh and the blood of Jesus) is one of the mysteries of God designed to actualize the flow of eternal life (Zoe) that is immune to all forms of sickness and diseases into our mortal bodies.

The Flesh:

Jesus gave details of the nutritional value of his flesh when He told His disciples in John 6:50-51.

This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof , and not die.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

The Blood:

Everyone's state of wellbeing is traceable to the content of his/her blood. No wonder the Bible says in Leveticus 17:11:

The life of the flesh is in the blood.

This is why Jesus introduced the mystery of the Holy Communion to give us mastery over all challenges. The blood of Jesus Christ can be likened to the spiritual soldiers in our physical body. It launches divine attacks on any satanic manifestations in our system.

When Jesus gave the disciples His blood, He said to them, "This is My blood. As often as you take it, you are doing it in remembrance of Me - you will start living like Me, and whatever could not floor Me will never be found in you or be able to bring you down. Whatever could not resist Me will not be able to resist you" (Luke 22:119-20, 1Cor. 11: 25, paraphrased).

Come along with your family, friends, well wishers and even your enemies as God is about to perform His wondrous acts via the resurrection power of His son Jesus Christ. Come expecting an impartation via the Prophetic Word and the Powerful Anointing to experience the presence of God. We are all required to come along with our souls for this life-transforming service.

JESUS IS LORD!
