SERVICE TIMES:

  • First Service:                 7:00AM
  • Second Service:            9:00AM

Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the Lord thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers: And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee. Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle. - Deuteronomy 7:12-14

And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil - Exdous 23: 25-26 (KJV)

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Psalm 103: 2 - 5 (KJV)

O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

1 Chronicles 16: 34 (KJV)

  • PROPHETIC ENTRANCE:

New begining means a fresh start, to begin on a new slate. We have all at some point experienced setbacks and failures in our lives. Sometimes we allow these mistakes, these setbacks and failures to enslave us to the point that we never enjoy the full Christian life that God has given us to enjoy.  The good news is that God says, “I want to do something new in your life. I want to give you a fresh start, a new beginning.” This news is a major element of our Christian faith – to start afresh and have a new beginning with God. New beginnings come to those who step out in faith. To change anything in your life by the power of God takes faith - Matt. 9:29.

As we step into the new month of February, it is only right that we rededicate our lives and affairs to the God of new beginings. As we take part in this service we will be receiving grace to begin afresh and aright with God, esppecially in areas of our lives where we have previously experienced losses, failure, disappointments, digrace, shame, stagnation etc.

All of the blessings upon this Commission shall be released upon all worshippers, granting everyone of us access into the realm of unstoppable breakthroughs in life. No one in this Commission shall be stranded, grounded or suffer anymore setback in life again.

THANKSGIVING:

Thanksgiving is the expression of gratitude, especially to almighty God. One of the great commandments is to give thanks to God, for all he has done for us. According to Psalm 100:4, we are to “enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his Courts with praise; be thankful unto him, and bless his name”.

It is also giving thanks to God for many blessings which should not be limited to only good times but also bad times thereby giving us the opportunity to demonstrate our faith in God.

Thanksgiving is a very important subject in the Bible. There are numerous scriptures on thanksgiving in both the Old Testament and in the New Testament.

The Book of Psalm in particular is full of such verses.

  •  Psalm 95: 2 says, “Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms”
  • Psalm 107: 21-22 says, “Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing”

The New Testament also contains similar verses on thanksgiving such as:

  • Colossians 4: 2 enjoins believers to “continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving”
  • Ephesians 5: 20 says to give thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

BENEFITS OF THANKSGIVING:

  • God sees you as a grateful person

So Jesus answered and said, ‘Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?

Luke 17:17-18 (NKJV)

  • It gives you access into God’s presence.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations

Psalm 100:4-5 (NKJV)

  • You please God.

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you

1 Thess 5:18 (NKJV)

  •  It ignites joy in you and creates an atmosphere for the supernatural.

The LORD is my strength, my shield from every danger. I trust in him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

Ps 28:7 (NLT)

  • It positions you for more blessing.

Then out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry; I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small. Their children also shall be as before, and their congregation shall be established before Me; and I will punish all who oppress them.

Jer 30:19-20 (NKJV)

  • Thanksgiving magnifies the blessings of the Lord in our lives.
  • Thanksgiving is a unique way of witnessing to those around us that our God is dependable.
  • It is right to give thanks to God - Psalm 92:1
  • It keeps our lives clear of darkness, anxiety and sin
  • It draws us closer to God
  • It unlocks many doors
  • Whenever thanksgiving goes up, showers of blessings automatically comes down

In this service, we will be coming together to give God thanks for his faithfulness, mercies and blessings through out the month of January 2024. We will be thanking God for our lives; for all He has done, and all that He is still doing.  We will also be thanking God for the Church; for his Word, His divine presence, for the diverse testiomies, signs and wonders, Church growth, successes and increases on every side. We will be giving quality thanks to God in songs and in dance in the course of the two services and in doing this put a seal  upon all the blessings we received in January. As we praise and worship our mighty God for his diverse blessings in our lives, expect the delivery of your long-awaited testimony.

Everyone is expected to start documenting the testimonies of God in their lives as we prepare to come before His presence with qualitative thanksgiving for all the blessings of January.

We are all admonished to reach out to the unsaved and encourage them to come along with you and your family for this life-changing service.

Everyone is admonished to Come along with your new converts and other invitees.

Jesus is Lord!!!
