JESUS IS RISEN!!!

On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ”  Then they remembered his words. - Luke 24: 1-8 (KJV)

And just as Jesus showed Himself alive with “many infallible proofs” to the apostles, He will do the same in our midst at this Easter Miracle Banquet –Act. 1:3.   Among others, come expecting:
An eye-opening miracle that will grant all of us access into realms of brighter revelations, bringing about a revolution both in our spiritual life and our endeavours in life – Mat. 27:50-51 / Eph. 1:17-23 / Isa. 60:1-22;
A grave opening miracle that will shatter all choking situations in our lives – Mat. 27:50 / Ezk. 37:10-14;
Breakthrough miracle that will bring an end to all areas of struggles in our lives and many more – Jhn. 21:3-6 / 6/14
From scriptures, we understand that resurrection signifies the opening of the seal to the redeemed into the realm of the supernatural as our natural realm – Isa. 8:18/ Jhn. 3:8/ Jhn. 20:19-22
Furthermore, there shall be a special communion service because the first thing Jesus did when He rose from the grave was to serve His disciples the Communion so as to open their eyes of understanding that they might understand the scripture – Luk. 24:30-31/45

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is essentially the foundation upon which Christian religion is built; It is the central truth of our faith. It signifies Jesus Christ's victory over death. His resurrection symbolizes the eternal life that is granted to all who believe in Him. The meaning of Easter also symbolizes the complete verification of all that Jesus preached and taught during His three-year ministry. If He had not risen from the dead, if He had merely died and not been resurrected, He would have been considered just another teacher or Rabbi. However, His resurrection changed all that and gave final and irrefutable proof that He was really the Son of God and that He had conquered death once and for all.

His resurrection comes with various reasons to rejoice:

1. PROOF OF SALVATION:

The Resurrection validated the claims of Jesus and provides ultimate credibility to His person. Because the Resurrection offers such proof, we believe His message.

2. POWER OVER SIN:

Paul lamented that a man, minus the power of God, has no hope of living in spiritual victory. Indeed, power over sin in our own strength is assuredly an exercise in futility. But the Resurrection power of Jesus Christ, the new life He provided to believers, enables us to live in victory over the enslaving power of sinful flesh as we reckon ourselves to be alive unto God through Jesus Christ.

3. PURPOSE FOR SERVING:

Because of our resurrection life in Christ, we are connected with the Lord. By His Spirit He dwells in us. We are partakers of His divine nature. The Resurrection means that Christ is with us and will never leave us.

4. PROMISE OF SECURITY:

Based upon the fact that Jesus Christ rose from the dead, we who trust in Him will rise too. Christ arose and provided the sure hope that, in Him, we can all have confident hope of a glorified body.

By reason of the finished work of the cross of Calvary, our sins are dealt with and we are declared righteous in Christ Jesus. The folded napkin left in his tomb also attests to the truth that God is not finished saving souls John 3:17, He is not finished reclaiming backsliders and without any fear of contradiction, God wants to bring His life-giving resurrection power to every area of your life - your marriage, your children, your finances, your job, your health, your ministry, your spirit. There is no part of our lives at is beyond God's reach. God wants to touch us - body, soul, and spirit and because Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever, it shall be indeed, a re-enactment of His resurrection power for all of us. The grave of everyone shall be opened, and everything dying or dead in and around our lives shall bounce back to life again, as it happened on the first resurrection day, It shall be a service to be much remembered

THANKSGIVING

Thanksgiving is the expression of gratitude, especially to almighty God. One of the great commandments is to give thanks to God, for all he has done for us. According to Psalm 100:4, we are to “enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his Courts with praise; be thankful unto him, and bless his name”.

It is also giving thanks to God for many blessings which should not be limited to only good times but also bad times thereby giving us the opportunity to demonstrate our faith in God.

Thanksgiving is a very important subject in the Bible. There are numerous scriptures on thanksgiving in both the Old Testament and in the New Testament.

The Book of Psalm in particular is full of such verses.

  •  Psalm 95: 2 says, “Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms”
  • Psalm 107: 21-22 says, “Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing”

The New Testament also contains similar verses on thanksgiving such as:

  • Colossians 4: 2 enjoins believers to “continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving”
  • Ephesians 5: 20 says to give thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

BENEFITS OF THANKSGIVING:

  • God sees you as a grateful person

So Jesus answered and said, ‘Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?

Luke 17:17-18 (NKJV)

  • It gives you access into God’s presence.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations

Psalm 100:4-5 (NKJV)

  • You please God.

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you

1 Thess 5:18 (NKJV)

  •  It ignites joy in you and creates an atmosphere for the supernatural.

The LORD is my strength, my shield from every danger. I trust in him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

Ps 28:7 (NLT)

  • It positions you for more blessing.

Then out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry; I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small. Their children also shall be as before, and their congregation shall be established before Me; and I will punish all who oppress them.

Jer 30:19-20 (NKJV)

  • Thanksgiving magnifies the blessings of the Lord in our lives.
  • Thanksgiving is a unique way of witnessing to those around us that our God is dependable.
  • It is right to give thanks to God - Psalm 92:1
  • It keeps our lives clear of darkness, anxiety and sin
  • It draws us closer to God
  • It unlocks many doors
  • Whenever thanksgiving goes up, showers of blessings automatically comes down

In these services, there shall be an unusual release of our  blessings via the the word of God. After your divine encounter in these services, expect the manifestation of Divine encounters in your marriage, business, family, career, education etc. Come and experience God's presence like never before.

Everyone is admonised to come with at least two new souls in addition to their new converts and other invitees.

Remain ever blessed.

Jesus is Lord!!!
